wish lost

What is a wish lost? Laff- it’s a woman who can’t see that well up close and still texts and types face book posts on her microscopic I-phone. The “wish lost” was supposed to be “its on my wish list”.  Once I saw the error and laughed at myself, it occurred to me that they were pretty much the same thing.

I have a long list of things I think I’d like to do. I say I would. I wistfully watch as a friend takes photography classes and heads down to the Dry Tortugas to take sunrise pictures. I tease that I would be happy to tag along with another friend who is living on the sea while working in the UAE.  I house hunt for places on the water all up and down the east coast. Is that a long enough wish list? Well, I had that epiphany- moment of truth- when I saw the typo. Wish Lost- Wish List- Wish Lost….which came first- the chicken or the egg? Wish in one hand and spit in the other- see which fills up fastest?
What was that song playing in my ear? Wishin and Hopin? Just wishing and hoping and thinking and praying, planning and dreaming- won’t get you……what? ACTION…that’s what I know gets us what we want. Wish lists or wishes lost- all due to inaction.

Action with passion pushing it forward.

Action with no holds barred.

Action with no wish left unstated.

Action without regrets.

Action with GENIUS, POWER & MAGIC.
