Determination
Who determines our success? We do. Who decides what we have in our life? We do
Who is responsible for our bodies? We are. What you choose to do in the little things keeps you going in the right direction.
It takes discipline and determination.
I Corinthians 9:26 What did Paul point out?
- You have to be balanced- use your talents and skills, wisdom and judgement. Be kind and good to your body and others.
- You have to be full of faith and confident in the Lord. There is no uncertainty in your heart. There are no “What Ifs”.
- You have to be headed in the right direction. You are not fighting like a boxer punching the air- you see the target and you head towards it with purpose. Let your efforts be clear and steady to meet with success.
Everybody can win their race. We don’t compete against others- we compete against ourselves.
Life is too short and too valuable to make excuses and pretend your way through your life.
I asked for a word today and received it.
Jeremiah 3:19 But I said, “How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the hosts of nations? And I said, “Thou shalt call me, My Father and shall not turn away from me”
I am determined to complete my purpose where I am and know in my heart that I will be among my children in a pleasant land with a goodly heritage when this season passes.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Blessed is the man ( empowered to prosper)
Psalm 32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the Lord imputeth not iniquity in whose spirit there is no guile.
