Rings of Friendship- Saturn Style
Recently I realized that a friend whom I had considered
using the old, “Detach with Love”, adage with may well be of the stellar constitution of my inner circle based on their meaningful response and some deeper reflection on my part.
There has to be purpose and passion in your choices. Just as life giving as your nutrition is your daily diet of personal interactions and who you allow in your life. As I understand this more fully my focus and my arms are moving inward. Being Positively Present-hmm
It’s incredibly difficult not to be influenced by the people we surround ourselves with and, unfortunately, we can’t always choose who we have around us. And, for that reason, we have to make the most of the relationships in our lives. We can control what ring of closeness they are allowed to inhabit and how much they affect our sense of well being.
I will not be like Saturn with so many rings of “Friends” who take energy but don’t seem to shine any brighter regardless of what I do or don’t do. I shall circulate with those whom are like-minded and reinvest energy into my life and are concerned with my well-being in a mutually beneficial reciprocal relationship. It is important for my inner circle to be invigorating and exciting yet satisfying and nourishing. Engaging with people whom we find significant is to the heart and soul, what food is to the physical body.
My closest circle, whom I can name on one hand, are ensconced on the ring that is sort of blueish green and very nicely glowing. How many friends really know you and love you because of who you are instead of inspite of who you are? Where do you see them in relationship to yourself? Saturn’s rings are held loosely by magnetic attraction. How do our friends stay in our closest circle? By choice or default? Is it time to say goodbye?
