Premonition

Webster says a premonition is a strong feeling that something is about to happen, especially something unpleasant.

I woke up to a phone call and the voice crying on the other end, “If you ever have a premonition again that you need to come, then come………….you were right, I needed you.”

My sleepy mind woke and jerked upright in my skull. What’s happening? All I could do was listen and wish that I had heeded that still small voice. Some people don’t even believe in these things, much less live them.

Why didn’t I? My work schedule. Why do I have to work so much now? Because I didn’t plan better earlier.:)

Right now, I am working harder than ever to be in a better position to be flexible with my time. In the meantime, I will never let the cost of a double priced plane ticket or “work” come between me and my intuition. There was nothing on my schedule that could not have been changed. The thing that needed to be changed was me and I can assure you, tonight it was imprinted on my soul to listen to myself and do what my still small voice tells me. Never again, will anyone ask me that question. As someone once said, “If you can’t trust yourself, who can you trust?”
