Protocol for fungus
Fungus overgrowth is one theory for the body’s immune system failing to keep cancer cells in check. It is full of unpleasant symptoms that affect the entire body.
What is a fungus? The most common fungi ,Candida albicans, at normal levels is harmless and exists alongside the trillions of other bacteria in the mouth, vagina, rectum and digestive tracts. But if there’s an overgrowth, candida can lead to significant health problems
Things that provoke excess candida are: diabetes, excess intake of sugar and carbohydrates, high stress, excess use of alcohol, hypothyroidism, pregnancy, inflammatory conditions, a weakened immune system, a coexisting skin condition like psoriasis, being under 5 yrs old or over 55 yrs. old and taking antibiotics, corticosteriods or birth control pills.
Signs and Symptoms of candida overgrowth: oral thrush, tiredness, fatigue, digestive issues, recurrent urinary tract infections, sinus infections, skin and nail fungal infections like ringworm or toenail fungus, joint pain or bone infections.
Things that get rid of excess fungus:
- Garlic: contains an antifungal substance called allicin, which has been shown to act against Candida yeasts in animal and test-tube studies.
- Coconut oil: is high in lauric acid, which has been shown to fight Candidainfections in multiple test-tube studies
- Curcumin: Test-tube studies indicate that it may kill Candida yeasts, or at least reduce their growth.
- Xylitol: In one test-tube study, it helped fight Candida, decreasing its ability to stick to a surface and cause infection.
- Aloe vera: Aloe vera gel may inhibit the growth of Candida in the mouth and prevent infections.
- Pomegranate: A test-tube study indicated that the plant compounds in them are beneficial against Candida yeasts.
- Kombucha: is rich in tea polyphenols and acetic acid, both of which have been shown to kill Candida in test-tube studies.
- Probiotics: like lactobacillus may reduce Candida growth and protect against infections.
To try to rebalance with diet, you should focus on avoiding:
- grains that contain gluten, such as wheat, rye, barley, and spelt
- high-sugar fruits, like bananas, mangos, and grapes
- sugar, sugar substitutes, and sugary beverages
- some dairy products, like cheese, milk, and cream
- refined oils, like canola oil, soybean oil, and margarine
- deli meats
- caffeine and alcohol
Natural supplements that help to manage a candida overgrowth commonly include a combination of the following;
- Oregano oil
- Goldenseal
- Garlic
- Grapefruit seed extract
- Olive Leaf
- Pau d’arco
- Caprylic acid (from coconut oil)
- Horipito
- Cinnamon
- Wormwood
Consider: Teraputics Intestine Pro, Gaia’s Oil of Oregano, Fungus Clean Pro, Dr. Ohira’s probiotics, and Ancient Nutrition SBO probiotics.
But the best, most potent, all-natural Candida killer is probably coconut oil. It contains caprylic acid, which has anti-microbial properties that are proven to kill yeasts and Candida. And studies have shown that it is even more effective in treating candidiasis than the prescription drug fluconazole.
The goal is to return the gut to optimum balance. The gut controls 70-75% of your immune system. It is critical to good health. Some of the signs that you need to take this seriously are:
- Skin and nail fungal infections
- Feeling tired or suffering from chronic fatigue
- Digestive issues such as bloating, constipation, or diarrhoea
- Skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis, hives, and rashes
- Irritability, mood swings, anxiety, panic attacks or depression
- Vaginal infections , urinary tract infections, rectal itching or vaginal itching
- Strong sugar and refined carbohydrate cravings
- Burning sensation, itching, hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation
Scalp or skin infections may be helped with coconut oil, which is thought to have antifungal properties. Use it on its own, or with 12 drops per 1/4 cup of essential oil. Examples of helpful essential oils to try include tea tree oil, lavender oil and lemongrass oil, which may have antimicrobial properties that may help a scalp yeast infection. Add one to a carrier oil, such as coconut or olive oil.
