New Year’s Traditions
On New Year’s Day, we cooked all four of these for a traditional NY’s day meal to increase our fortunes. Another belief is that whatever you are doing on NY’s day, you will be doing all year. If that’s the case, I will be traveling, visiting, spending time with children, and spending money. I got a call about a house built in 1928 in my hometown that may be available for purchase, after they owner checks with their family first. I talked to all my family and friends by phone. And, the afternoon was spent watching “Dr Pol” shows on TV with two kids who might want to be vets one day!! We rounded out the main meal with a divine homemade coconut pie that was delicious!! I’d say the year started out with a bang!
