Merry Christmas
Wishing each of you a very special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
It is a rainy gray day, with scattered showers and a wet, soggy ground. The dogs are averse to treading in a pool of water but like good little troopers- they carry on with their routines. That’s the thing about dogs, they must have a chance to go out regularly whether they want to or not!
Perhaps, that’s one of my needs. I must have a chance to do new things regularly, whether I want to or not! I am making a “list” of new things I sort of want to try, but am sort of afraid to do. Odd emotions- “want to and don’t want to”, all mixed together:)
What kinds of new things did I get for Christmas? A mermaid burgee, a mermaid ornament, a sailing necklace, a nautilus necklace, a nautical bracelet, a couple of travel bags, a starfish necklace and earrings, everything was blue or green and featured the same theme- water!!!
Sounds like my family and friends know me like a book. Or at least, they have a good idea of what I like. This necklace came from all of my children. They found the perfect item, with diamonds, mother of pearl, black onyx on a white gold chain. This gift keeps giving, since I get to wear something special that reminds me of their love and acceptance everyday!
I DO BELIEVE in Santa. I do believe in the goodness of this place in time and all those that are in it. I am thankful for everything and everyone, in my life- Merry Christmas!
I am going to think seriously about a question I was asked this year before I start into 2015. “Do you do all these things because you want to do them or is it because you don’t know how to say no when asked to do them?” I thought I wanted to – but today, I wish I had to do absolutely nothing! A year of “doing nothing”? Maybe…
